Timber / Rod

Bookshelf made from a single Douglas Fir Beam (10″x 10″) and a 3/4″ steel rod. Notches were cut out with a chain saw. Outside was burned and scrapped for texture then painted. Rod was forge heated and burned all the way through the core. Created during Emma International Collaboration 2016 with Jason Nemec, Sandra Dunn, Craig Campbell, Dave Campbell and Ted Ross.

Bibliothèque fait à partir d’une poutre de sapin douglas (10″ x 10″) et d’une barre d’acier de 3/4″. Sculpter à la tronçonneuse. L’extérieur à été brûlée, grattée pour créer une texture et peinturée. La barre d’acier a été forgé et brûlé à travers le coeur de la poutre. Créé lors de Emma International Collaboration 2016 avec Jason Nemec, Sandra Dunn, Craig Campbell, Dave Campbell et Ted Ross.
